Advisory Board

Brian Lang is an advisory board member at Intelligent Currency Solutions Limited. Brian joined the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 1962 and was appointed to the Senior Management in 1984. In 1990 he became the Head of the Currency Department where he overlooked the introduction of polymer as the new substrate for New Zealand’s currency. He retired in 2006 after 43 years of service. Brian holds various advisory and consultancy positions in the currency industry.

Dirk Putter is an advisory board member at Intelligent Currency Solutions. Dirk started his career at the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) in 1971. In 1982 he was appointed to lead the implementation of the new banknote processing machines and afterwards lead the restructuring of SARB branch offices, was a member of the new Banknote Development Committee and lead the Y2K project team. Retired from the Reserve Bank in 2006 after 34 years. Dirk currently works for SBV, South Africa's largest commercial cash management company, as Executive: Cash Management.

Keith Richbell is an advisory board member at Intelligent Currency Solutions Limited. Keith has served a life-long career in the commercial banking industry, starting at Girobank in 1980. He then moved to Abbey National where he was Director of Retail Banking. In 2000, Keith became the Managing Director of Travelex, the world’s largest foreign currency company. Since leaving Travelex in 2004, Keith has served in director positions at different companies until he became Director Product Management at VocaLink in October 2006, a position he still holds.

Germain Roesch is an advisory board member at Intelligent Currency Solutions Limited. After a 12 year career at Olivetti, Germain joined De La Rue France as Managing Director in 1994. After serving in various managerial positions, Germain became the Managing Director of De La Rue’s global Cash Systems Division in 2003. Since leaving De La Rue in 2005, Germain has held a number of senior positions in the cash handling industry and is currently Executive VP of Stored Value Solutions International, a Ceridian Company.
