Richard Haycock is the Chairman of Intelligent Currency Solutions Limited. Richard’s career in the currency industry started when he joined Recognition Equipment Inc.’s Currency Systems division. In 1991, he bought the division and set up Currency Systems International (CSI). Over the next five years he increased the business to also include sister companies Currency Software Solutions (CSS) and Currency Consulting International( CCI). In the time to 2001, he grew the companies over 250 employees in 12 countries.
After selling the companies in 2001 to De la Rue Plc, Richard started Currency Research USA Corp., a Texas based corporation organizing various conferences in the currency industry and carrying out consultancy projects for Central Banks. Richard is involved in various companies as chairman or board member.
Francisco Lopez is the CEO of Intelligent Currency Solutions Limited. Francisco started his career in sales and marketing at 3M. He later joined De La Rue and became Head of Sales for their Banknote Sorting Division, a position he held until 1995 when he joined Banking Automation, leading major expansion into international distribution of self service solutions for Banks.
In 1999, he joined CSS as Managing Director. When the company was bought by De La Rue, Francisco was responsible for the integration of the CSS and De La Rue vault management activities. Between 2003 and 2007, Francisco served in management positions at various companies in the retail, banking and payments sectors. In January 2008, Francisco started Intelligent Currency Solutions Limited with Richard.
Alan Watts is the Technical Director of Intelligent Currency Solutions. Alan’s currency career began in the security packaging world where his achievements include the co-invention of a low cost tamper evident solution for banking products. This patented system is still in use worldwide. At the same company, He later became instrumental in the formation of a new division created to provide cash management solutions to the existing client base. Currency Systems International acquired this business in 1997 and Alan relocated to take up a managerial position in their new software division, Currency Software Solutions. After De La Rue acquired CSI in 2001, Alan worked as Product Manger and lead consultant in technology integration projects.
In early 2006, Alan accepted an offer to join the newly formed Glory UK organisation as their Technical Manager, responsible for developing the technical services and support infrastructure in support of cash processing hardware and software product sales. Alan joined ICS in September 2008 and brings with him the experience required to bring together the technical pieces of the jigsaw with responsibilities ranging from product specification through analysis, delivery, implementation and support.
